Os Pontos Negros não cantam pimba nem kizomba mas o título do álbum de estreia da banda diz tudo sobre a concorrência que os rodeiam.

Extended Hiatus / Womanizer
If you haven't noticed, I'm not really in the mood for blogging...
So, I'm taking some undetermined time off from this blog.
I'll be eventually fully back when I think I'm ready...
And before I go, here's Britney's new track "Womanizer"...
Download links courtesy of Ali's Blog ...
I'll be seeing you...
Take care!

Drop It Like a Cadillac
When I first heard about Girlicious nothing good came to my mind.
First of all the band name is wack! They could have take it further than Girlicious... There's nothing delicious about it.
Then, they seemed like a weak version of something like The Pussycat Dolls meets Danity Kane.
Fortunatly I was wrong.
I've been listening to they're album and it's far better than the Pussycat's debut, not to mention Danity Kane's.
Stupid Shit, Already Gone, Baby Doll and Do About It are among the best tracks of the album, or even the entire year.
It is a good pop album, although it is not that good to make such an impact like PCD did in 2005.

Extreme Makeover
This blog will suffer yet again a makeover.
Due to the fact that one reader (thanks Mahamed from Canada for the support!) hopes for us to write about general music instead of only one genre, we will mash it all up.We will restart this Monday with something we had done previsouly, and after our coverage of The National's concert in Lisbon next Sunday.
This has been postponed.
Please meet us again soon.

Genie and the Bottle
Cat Power will perform live in at Coliseu dos Recreios, Lisbon and at Coliseu do Porto, the 26th and 27th May, respectively.
Unfortunatly I won't be seeing her with her bottle of wine near her piano. I already bought tickets for another event, and money runs short these days...
