For those of you who think Kylie is all about fancy cutie bubblegum pop-dance, you may be a bit wrong. She has been also influenced by Indie Rock artists such as INXS (remember, Michael Hutchence was her boyfriend), Manic Street Preachers (who wrote some songs for her 1997 album Impossible Princess) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The most Indie song Kylie has recorded is actually her collaboration with Nick Cave for their Murder Ballads album. Where The Wild Roses Grow is also Kylie's favourite song from her repertoire.
