. The single reached number 3 on british charts (behind comeback boyband
's album debuted at number 1. For some reason
(the track is great, and so is the album by the way. I highly recommend it). I'm happy the girls returned, as I was a fan of their previous work. And I'm also happy they've produced such an amazing video for
. The girls are a group of robbers and they're off to steal a bank.
go straight to business. All this in black and white, 50's style...

As, I said before,
Justin Timberlake's album takes you on a trip through beats and lyrics and you just can't stop playing it or singing to it. So does second single
My Love.
Timbaland's futuristic vision (also shown on
Nelly Furtado's
Promiscuous) gives the song the power to give you wings so you'll able to either fly or float through the verses, the chorus or the bridge. Tastily produced and sassily delivered,
My Love features rapper
T.I. and reached top positions on several charts around the world.

Akon's first single for his second album was highly praised as he reaches white hip hop star
Eminem for a collaboration. The collaboration between the stars was seen as improbable and surprising. The song reached world wide top spots and is even nominated for a
Grammy for
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Now to me, this song is not really original and it's really a low quality spin-off of
50 Cent's
Candy Shop. The lyrics are just bogus and not even
Eminem is able to save the song. "Look back and watch me smack that" is just
Akon's poetry for "Watch me fucking you". Nonsense. But judge for yourself...

Jamelia has been through a lot in
2006. Apart from a physical break down and a public war with British pop star
Javine, her new album wasn't quite praised. Especially second single
Beware of The Dog. The song has been criticized for being a spin-off of
Rihanna's
S.O.S. (Rescue Me), and also for being unoriginal as it samples
Depeche Mode's
Personal Jesus. Even the sampling is criticized as just looping it thoughout the song. Nonetheless it reached number 10 in the UK, and personally, I give it 5/5. The sample is a perfect match with the concept of the lyrics (which are also very good), but once again, judge for yourself...

Britney Spears' ex-husband, ex-friend, ex-dancer, and for her will, ex-father of their children too, released his debut album as a white rapper in
2006. This is even more bogus than
Akon smacking
that. Cocky lyrics, bad beats, bad video, bad rapping and a bad artist makes first single
Lose Control the worst of
2006. Even Romanian sisters
Cheeky Girls did better than this. I think
Missy Elliott's hit of the same name should file
K-Fed for naming this piece of crap with the same name. But, then again, who am I to judge? Just one more word about
Kevin ...
Eeew...
