Some months ago, the original studio version of this song featuring only Beyoncé on the vocals, leaked onto the Internet. It was a catchy R'n'B tune, with some Latin flavour. Then, hours ago the studio version of the song re-recorded with Shakira leaked. This new version was clearly marked by Shakira, as new middle-eastern sounds were added to the song. The song kinda resembles me of Shakira's Ojos Así, which is pretty cool. Hours ago, the video premiered on MTV's TRL (for the likes of many screaming fans), and it was the first time we could see both singers sharing the same screen. It didn't turned out a great video with some beach scenes and all (probably because Beyoncé's label is quite busy doing more 5 videos or so for her re-release, and that must turn out rather expensive), but still, is a good video, with some scenes on studio... But what really makes it look that cool, is the fact the singers look exactly the same. Which is great. And the choreography is also pretty good. I call it Baby Boy meets La Tortura. Feel free to enjoy...

Since celebrations has started all over the world, I decided to celebrate Carnival (or Mardi Gras, whatever you call it) on my blog too. So, it's time for another Da1000 Tour! My 2007 Carnival Tour will be a short 3-day Tour, and we'll check out some countries where Carnival deserves a big big party. Starting in Latin America, let's check out Colombia. Of course, I couldn't possibly let this one out. She introduced Colombian Carnival celebrations to us, so... Plus, it was a big hit. After they spawned a worldwide spanish hit back in 2005 with La Tortura, Alejandro Sanz teams up again with Shakira for this early 2007 spanish ballad Te Lo Agradezco Pero No. Altough they're chemistry seems to work worldwide (one of the reasons why La Tortura was that massive hit), I don't feel they're able to match the success of they're previous collaboration. Nontheless, this is set to be a huge hit across latin countries, and I totally expect it to be one of the songs to be nominated to the Latin Grammys. And I'm not even sure if they'll release it outside the latin market... The video is simple, Alejandro performs and Shakira comes out looking like she just left the set of her Illegal video... And of course they sing and dance together (again with the chemistry goin' on)... Now, I'm not much of a latin songs lover, but this one turns out to be quite good... But hey, Alejandro have always done quite good songs anyway... Check out his 1999 Corazón Partio (on YouTube) and decide for yourself... Meanwhile... Enjoy!
