Pissed off. That's what I'm feeling towards the "official music video" for Give It To Me, the collaboration between Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. The song is good enough to do some selling and reach the top of the charts, but it's not that good so they could make the cheesiest, crappiest music video ever. The "video" features footage from their performance at the post (or was it pre?) Grammy party, Justin's FutureSex/LoveTour, Nelly's performance for the video which was shot on the roof of one of the hotels she was staying (not the mention her terrible hairstyle), and the same thing for the guys but on Justin's tour bus... Crap. Everyone could've done that and uploaded it on YouTube! Actually, even my version of the video was better than the official one. And mine wasn't even that good if you recall (well thanks to the Viacom/YouTube slaughter you can't watch it any longer). This was their chance to make something good, something big. Just imagine three big stars, with a big song, in a big video... How impossible is that? Quite, it seems...

Now, we all know this from some time ago (the song leaked during mid-November), but I couldn't possibly let the original video get a premiere before I posted my own video of the song. So yes, this is another Da1000 Production. I was about to go to bed in the night of November 13th when I accidently found the MP3 for Timbaland's new track Give It To Me. And I was surprised to see that it featured Nelly FurtadoandJustin Timberlake! As I heard the song, and seemed to like it, I though I had to put this on YouTube. And so I went on a quest to find a video by Nelly Furtado and another one by Timbaland. I searched for Promiscuous, but I couldn't find it anyway, and that was when I found the video of Ching Ching, a song by rapper Ms. Jade and featuring Miss Furtado and Timbaland himself! I already had Justin's My Love, so it should be no problem... I quickly used Windows Movie Maker, and the video was shortly made. Now, it doesn't look that great, I mean, I made it like in, 20 minutes or so, but I guess it was good enough just to give YouTubbers a chance to hear the tune. It turned out to be my most successful video on YouTube hitting the, get this, 98,733 views so far! And it was even one of the most seen music videos on YouTube the following days. So, altough I looks a bit cheap, I have no regrets... LoL... Anyway, the official video is set to premiere very soon, so I hope I post it here when it comes out too ;) Enjoy!

And the nominees list for the 2007 Grammy Awards just came out. I was really pleased with this year's nominees, though Nelly Furtado could have more than just one nomination ( Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for Promiscuous with Timbaland, which they'll probably lose to Mary J. Blige's One with U2). And I was also really pleased and surprised for The Pussycat Dolls' nomination for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for Stickwitu, they really deserve it. Other nominees include Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Madonna, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gnarls Barkley, Natasha Bedingfield, James Blunt, Corrine Bailey Rae and Mary J. Blige (with 8 nominations), among others...
