After hit singles
Smile and
LDN, new British sensation
Lily Allen releases a fourth music video. The track will be released on the UK as an A-Side with
Shame For You on March 5th resulting in a fourth single from her
Alright, Still album. While she's starting promotion in the United States (first single
Smile was already released, and she recently performed on SNL), the UK is given not one but two songs. Good thinking.
Alfie is about her younger brother
Alfie Owen-Allen who refused to participate on the video for the track. Instead there's a puppet playing
Alfie and he's shown doing many unpleasant things such as smoking cannabis or masturbating to naked Barbies pictures. The track is quite good, not an anthem like previous
Smile or
LDN, but still quite good, and the video is, like any other
Lily Allen video, a piece of art. Enjoy!
